Our Projects

The Linhart Foundation, Tibet Open House and Lamdon Social Welfare Society- Wakha - Mulbekh are working together to oversee the design and construction of the Buddha 108' Mulbekh Mahasangha Meditation Centre. The aim of the project is to promote the Buddha´s teaching, support the preservation and growth of the unique culture, traditions, language, sustainable way of life and architecture of this remote traditional buddhist community.

The project emerged about 30 kilometres from Tibet Open House as a Retreat Centre in a beautiful area close to the river Berounka. There, in a house that is almost 200 years old, is a Gönpa (a place for meditation), kitchen with a canteen and a mesmerizing garden resides. Here we have hosted weekend retreats and workshops on topics related to Buddhist traditions, philosophy and religion. The Retreat Center can be reached by train and takes approximately 30 minutes from Prague.

We collaborate with the Związek Buddyjski Khordong meditation center in Polish Sudetenland which promotes Tibetan teachings.
