Photography Exhibition Opening - 09.07.2020/18:00

We cordially invite you and your friends to the opening of the exhibition entitled "IF ONLY FOR A SINGLE DAY…" by Stanislav Doležal

The exhibition is our gift to His Holiness, the 14th Tibetan Dalai Lama, for his 85th birthday ( 06 July 2020) and reminder of the 30 year anniversary of his first visit to Czechoslovakia and meeting with Václav Havel.

The Dalai Lama's visit to Czech society raised the issue of respect for the right to liberty and opened up space for free expression. The meeting of the Dalai Lama with his sympathizers took place in various parts of Prague and the exhibition of photographs by Stanislav Doležal, including texts by the then Havel secretary Saša Neuman, captures the spontaneous atmosphere of these moments and is a unique testimony to the extraordinary events of our modern history.

The exhibition will be  on display from July 10 to September 30, Monday-Friday, from 13:00- 18:00.
