Tibet Open House is established and supported by the Linhart Foundation. The Tibet Open House project in 2016 was personally blessed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama
during personal audience of Gesh Yeshi Gawa and Jan Mayer. The project was later blessed by His Holiness the Karmapa.

Right in the heart of Prague you can encounter and experience Tibetan culture. We are a multicultural space open to everyone interested in Tibetan history, tradition, art, philosophy and religion.
Since 2018, Chungpo Rigtselwa has served at the Tibet Open House. as an artist and curator. Here at the Tibet Open House, we aim to promote and preserve Tibetan culture through Dharma, Education, Ecology, Culture and Community.
Tenzin Palmo
A graduate of the Faculty of Education in Prague and a teacher at a language school, she received monastic vows in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition from His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 2012. She then completed a three-year Basic Program of Buddhist Studies at the Italian Lama Tzong Khapa Institute, and lived and studied for seven years at the exile Kopan Monastery in Nepal (gels curriculum of the Gelug School). She also works as a teaching assistant at the Basic Program of Buddhist Studies at the Jamyang Center in London.

People often say that the Truth About Suffering seems depressing to them - it was encouraging for me, I finally learned how things are, that eternal slight dissatisfaction is normal in our ordinary existence, but also that there is a way out of it. . I am always pleased when I talk to people who also intuitively feel that happiness does not lie in material things, in the fulfillment of some momentary desires. I think Buddhism has a lot to offer. And of course, I am also pleased that many of my Dharma friends here in the Czech Republic have been studying various texts with me and discussing and meditating on them for several years. I appreciate their perseverance and commitment. "
